Caerdroia - the Journal of Mazes & Labyrinths

Subscription Information

Since it was founded in 1980, Caerdroia has become a widely respected forum for the study of the history and development of labyrinths and mazes - indeed, it remains the only journal dedicated to this particular area of study. During this time it has published 53 editions, well over 2000 pages of information, news, views and research and has amassed a considerable archive collection of information.

Our current edition, Caerdroia 53, was published December 2024 and our next edition, Caerdroia 54, is due for publication Autumn 2025 and is available by subscription.

Subscription automatically provides the next edition of Caerdroia and also helps support the production of the journal and maintenance of this website and the archives that make it all possible.

As a non-profit making journal dealing with a very specialised subject, Caerdroia relies on readers subscriptions for support.

The annual fee is currently:

£6 digital or £10 printed - UK

£6 digital - USA/World *

* Unfortunately, as a consequence of the UK government choosing to withdraw from the European Union, we are no longer able to send printed copies of Caerdroia to addresses in Europe. Current customs procedures and collection fees imposed on small packages sent from the UK make it unfeasible to process orders to Europe. Hopefully this ridiculous bureaucracy that is now interfering with trade and the exchange of knowledge will be reversed in the future and normal service can be resumed in due course. Likewise, the cost of mailing the journal elsewhere in the world has now become a burden on our limited resources, so we are only able to offer the journal in digital format going forward - we trust you will understand, but if you especially require a printed copy, ask us for details.

UK: cheques payable to LABYRINTHOS please. Electronic bank transfers are also welcome, please ask us for our bank details.

Europe: Euro banknotes are acceptable, but please fold in dark paper for security. Bank transfers can be made by arrangement, but online payment via Paypal is preferred.

USA: sorry, we are no longer able to accept US$ bank checks, UK banks will no longer cash them. Online payment via Paypal is easier and more secure.

World: Bank cheques in £ Sterling only are accepted, payable to LABYRINTHOS please. Online payment via Paypal is easier and more secure.
